Visitors to the museum and archive are warmly welcomed. The facility, in the community centre in Uig, is open Monday to Saturday, 12-5pm, from May to mid-September, and visits at other times can be arranged on request. Out of opening hours, please contact Sarah or ring Finlay (01851.672224), John (672255) or Teen Anne (672363) and we will gladly open up for you.
As an entirely voluntary organisation we do not maintain a staffed office, but would be pleased to help with genealogical or other enquiries if we can. You may also like to consult Hebridean Connections, our online database project, where all known Uigeachs from about 1450 onward are gradually being subjected to the indignity of digitisation!
